Second Stretch Goal Met!

Hello Everyone!
While I was at Grand Rapids Comic Con, we crossed our second stretch goal! That means everyone's getting access to the Smut #2 playlist at the end of the campaign AND Rachel Merrill is going to make a print for you guys to pick up!
I decided not to make the print available right now just because Rachel is working on it as we speak and says it should be available before Thanksgiving, so I'm waiting until you can actually see the finished art before I ask you to buy it (Please clap).
What we're planning is an homage to lesbian pulp novels like "I Prefer Girls," "Anything Goes," and "Satan was a Lesbian," the artwork of which are all beautiful and hilarious in a really unique way that fits what we're doing with Smut. Once it's finished, I'll throw it up as an add-on and make an announcement with the finished artwork.
For now, I just want to thank you all for rallying around this project and getting us here so quickly! It feels amazing to have an audience respond to our book like this and I can't wait to be able to get it out to you guys. We're already above the $8k mark and I have no doubt we'll be hitting that third stretch goal in the coming weeks. So let's get back to work!
Projects We Support!
"Feast is a collection of polyamory comics: quests of self-discovery while dating more than one partner, fairytales of true love triads, and misadventures with magical metamours. Take a seat at the table and tuck into these eleven tales that explore and celebrate consensual non-monogamy, while still giving a taste of the struggles, hardships, and obstacles that come from entanglements with multiple adventurers.
"Suitable for young adults.
"Greed is a collection of sexy polyamory comics for adventurers who are questing for consensual non-monogamy in their smut. Indulge in opulent orgies, unconventional unicorn hunting, and entanglements with gelatinous polycubes. Spoil yourself with these twelve stories, each a precious gem of delectable, indulgent fantasy that dares to be greedy.
"With content tags before each tale to help the reader decide if it’s to their taste, this collection is worth its weight in gold."
Tab Kimpton is a fantastic publisher, editor, and artist of queer comics and I absolutely love the stuff they put out! Whether you're here for the romance or smut (and, reading this, I suspect it's the latter), you'll love the collections they put out and I highly recommend you head over to their page! Check it out here.
"In this thrilling blend of suspense, erotica, and Greek mythology, Mandisa Jones, a terminally ill college professor, wakes up miraculously cured. Although everyone around her insists it's nothing short of a miracle, she can't shake an unsettling feeling deep within her. Vivid dreams and haunting visions plague her mind as she experiences a horrific transformation into the legendary gorgon Medusa.
"An obsessed detective follows the trail of petrified men left in her wake. A delusional man with his own mythological ties embarks on a quest to kill her. All while her friends try to solve the mystery of her amazing recovery. A spicy new series from Brian Hawkins and Bad Bug Media: Curse of the Gorgon!"
Modern twists on mythology is nothing new and getting it right is really, really hard and easy to make feel like a bad tumbler post in comic form. Curse of the Gorgon is a great example of what the genre looks like when it's firing on all cylinders! It's a great looking comic with a fantastic team (particularly Brian Hawkins, who writes really fantastic comics like Black Cotton). Take a look for yourself, you won't regret it! Check it out here!
Talk soon, let's get some more art made and stretch goals met!

Hello Everyone!
Things keep happening too quickly to keep up with! It's all very exciting!
First up, big news, Smut #2 is now a Kickstarter Project We Love! This will hopefully get us some more visibility and help us grow our community even more! I love that for everyone (of course, I'll always remember that his was a project YOU loved first!)
Stretch Goals!
Time to reveal our stretch goal road map! As much as I was tempted to push the numbers higher given how successful everything already has been, I'm sticking to my original plan and giving you guys as much stuff as I can get away with. Maybe that means we run out but, hey, positive problems!
$6000 (Already funded!) - Every physical backer gets a brand new free sticker with their comics and a new enamel pin with the same design becomes available for purchase. What design you ask? Well...
You can pick up the enamel pin for $10 as an add-on right now!
$7500 - Backers get access to our Smut #2 Spotify playlist! The first one was a resounding success and I still listen to it on occassion when I need to feel like the baddest bitch in the room, so we're bringing it back!
ALSO! A print by one of my favorite cartoonists, Rachel Merrill, becomes available to purchase! We're doing an homage to lesbian pulp novels like "I Prefer Girls", "Satan was a Lesbian", and "Anything Goes". If you're not familiar with the style, do some Googling, it's worth it.
$10,000 - Backers get a free print by up-and-coming indie/kickstarter darling Emilia Strilchuk!
ALSO! A new print by Jenn St-Onge becomes available for purchase!!! This was truly a case of "Well, this will never happen, but I may as well reach out," and now one of the coolest artists in the business is drawing a print for Smut! WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!
$13,000 - A new cover will be available for Smut #2 based on the art of one of the prints we unlocked previously (to be decided on by the backers)! That's right, you get to choose which cover we print!
$17,000 - New back matter for all copies of the comic, physical and digital! We'll also a print an additional cover based on the second most popular print!
I dare not consider that this project could make more than this, so I'm cutting off the roadmap here, but if we pass our final goal with time to spare, I'll keep throwing new and free stuff at you guys!
We're only $600 away from our next stretch goal, so keep spreading the word, posting to social media, and shoving Smut in people's faces!

"Meet Hila. 15 years old and bored out of her mind. While on a subway ride with her best friend, Ramon, she notices a stranger with a duffel bag. To shake things up in their lives, she decides to steal it. No big deal, right? But when the two friends find a severed head inside, they quickly realize they're way in over their heads (pun-intended)! Hila's reckless behavior puts a dent in her friendship with Ramon, who just would rather be in class than running for his life. Things start looking up when they meet, Trammel, a kind-hearted FBI agent, who intends on bringing the kids home safely. Leo, the psychotic hitman who they stole from has other plans for the trio and will stop at nothing to get the head back.
"Will Hila and Ramon be able to do it with their body parts and friendship still intact?"
Headcases #1 was one of my favorite comics last year and it is SHOCKING to me that issue #2 hasn't been funded 5 times over. It's creative, it's got a great balance of thrills and lighthearted comic goodness, and it's made by some of the most humble, quietly talented people in indie comics right now! Check it out here!
"But if you're new here, you're probably wondering what the heck GLITCH even is—especially if you've never heard of Solarpunk before. Well, the short of it is that GLITCH is a story set in The Wasteland, one of the last bastions of life left on Earth after a mysterious event wiped out nearly all life centuries ago. Society in The Wasteland runs on renewable energy like solar and wind power, as well as clean energy sources left over by the highly advanced Old World. We follow a teen scavenger named Ari (and her pet desert kit fox Zephyr, of course) as she delves into ancient ruins to collect loot to trade for food and supplies...like a new water harvester, for starters. But of course, her latest delve goes sideways, she makes some enemies, and finds herself in the middle of a race for some truly rare (and valuable) Old World tech.
"But that's starting to get into the long of things, isn't it? At this point, you might as well just read our first issue, which is 100% FREE to download in PDF form on our website. Yeah, you read that right! You can click the image below to get your PDF right now."
Glitch rules, I've been a supporter since issue #1, and that's all I really have to say about that. It's fun, it's inventive, and it feels like a true labor of love. And if you don't believe me, the first issue is available to read for free on the campaign page. Check out Glitch now!
Love you guys, talk later.
